Amethyst Austria Welcomes New Oncologist Edgar Selzer
Amethyst Austria is proud to welcome new consultant oncologist Dr Edgar Selzer into the fold, who will be working alongside our team to provide consultations to private patients.
A senior physician in radiation oncology at the Medical University of Vienna and professor of clinical and experimental oncology, Dr Selzer will make an invaluable addition to the Amethyst family.
His work over the years has focused on biomarker development, translational oncology, the development of novel anti-cancer compounds, both preclinical and clinical research, and clinical trials.
Dr Selzer is also currently head of the Division for AI-based preventative medicine and early detection at the Institute for Digital Transformation and artificial intelligence at Sigmund Freud University in Vienna.
His experience in the field speaks for itself and the impact that he will have on patient care at Amethyst is sure to be significant.
